Aims and Scope
Journal of Research on Archaeometry (JRA) publishes original research and review articles related to the analytical investigations of archaeological findings, cultural materials, and conservation science. JRA emphasizes mainly on the development of knowledge of archaeometry in Iran and Middle East on different aspects. The audience of this journal is mainly scholars and students from different disciplines working on or studying on cultural materials.
The aim of this journal is to provide a medium of scientific communication for investigators in the field of archaeological science.
JRA accepted highest scientific standards papers by the following types:
- Papers reporting results of original fundamental research
- Review articles from authorized persons
- Short communications
- Case reports
- Technical Innovations
All submitted manuscripts must pass stringent peer-review process and only papers that are rated as high scientific quality are accepted. As a strict role, submitted manuscripts are expected to have a clear archaeological or art historical context, be of the highest scientific standards, and to present data of international relevance.
